Dear Researchers,
Following the success of its debut at MICCAI 2024, we are excited to announce the second edition of Open Data at MICCAI 2025! The Open Data session will take place on September 26, 2025, parallel to the main conference. We are happy to announce the call for papers and welcome you to submit your work.
As medical machine learning continues to evolve, access to diverse, representative, and inclusive datasets is essential for addressing global healthcare challenges. The Open Data initiative seeks to accelerate collaboration and innovation by promoting the sharing of high-quality medical imaging datasets. To support this effort, we provide guidelines for researchers to upload their datasets to a unified storage system facilitating access and reuse by the research community.
We welcome submissions describing novel datasets, particularly those from South-East Asia and other underrepresented regions or diseases, along with methodologies for data collection, curation, and innovative applications in medical imaging research. Accepted papers will have the opportunity of an oral presentation at the Open Data session and will be invited for submission to the MELBA Journal's Resource Track, featuring a special issue on Open Data at MICCAI 2025.
Topics of interest for MICCAI 2025 Open Data include, but are not limited to:
