Each year, researchers and scientists are eligible to receive financial support to attend the annual MICCAI conference. Applications for the Registration and Travel grants are now being accepted!
Attention! Authors intending to submit a workshop or challenge paper should apply early. The travel grant application deadline is earlier than some paper submission deadlines. Applicants do not need to wait for paper acceptance notifications to apply.

The MICCAI Society is pleased to provide financial support to members of the MICCAI Community who are from diverse and underserved backgrounds and want to attend the annual MICCAI conference. Diversity, in this case, encompasses a wide range of characteristics in the scientific community including, but not limited to, underrepresented gender and racial/ethnic groups, lower-income countries and countries underrepresented in MICCAI.
Recipients of the MICCAI Society Registration Grants will receive waiver codes to cover main conference and satellite event registrations, plus a one-year MICCAI Society membership fee. The MICCAI Society will support 25 Registration Grants (approximately 20 young scientists and 5 non-young scientists) annually.
Recipients of the MICCAI Society Travel Grants will receive financial support of up to $2,500 per grant to use towards conference registration, MICCAI membership, lodging, and travel costs. The MICCAI Society will support 15 Travel Grants annually.

RISE-MICCAI will provide a total of 5 to 10 grants for up to $2,500/award will be awarded to pay for conference registration fees, accommodations and travel costs, as well as a one-year MICCAI Society membership.
To be eligible, applicants must be presenting a paper at MICCAI 2026 and from a low- to middle-income country (LMIC) or from an underrepresented country.
The organizers of the MIRASOL Workshop are collaborating with the MICCAI Society to supplement conference registration costs, provide travel stipends and offer best paper awards. The MIRASOL Travel Grants are intended for exceptional LMIC researchers from under-represented regions who may need support to participate in the MIRASOL Workshop at MICCAI 2026 and contribute their research.
To be eligible, applicants must submit a paper to the MIRASOL workshop by the workshop deadline and be either a current student, postdoctoral trainee, resident/fellow, or an early-career scientist.
