MICCAI SOCIETY PARTICIPATION GRANT

MICCAI Main Conference and MICCAI Satellite Event Participation Grants 2022

The MICCAI Society wishes to provide financial support for members, including both students and early-career scientists, to participate in MICCAI 2022 Main Conference and satellite events. The MICCAI Main Conference and Satellite Event Grants are aimed at non-author students and early career researchers, from diverse backgrounds, including but not limited to lower-income countries and countries where few papers are received. A portion of the grant will be dedicated to researchers in Southeast Asia in order to encourage future participation from this region in the MICCAI community.

Main Conference Participation Grant

For In-person participants:

The grant covers one In-person main conference registration + one year of the MICCAI Society membership + accommodation of 2 nights in the conference hotel.

For virtual participants:

The grant covers one virtual main conference registration + one year of the MICCAI Society membership.

Eligibility:

Students and early career researchers (within 2 years of graduation or not yet on a tenured post) from diverse backgrounds, including but not limited to lower-income countries. Diversity here is used as a short form for "Equality, Diversity and Inclusion”, encompassing a wider range of underrepresented characteristics in the scientific community.

Exclusion: Students who are the first author of a paper accepted by the MICCAI 2022 main conference are not eligible.

Satellite Event Participation Grant

The grant covers the registration fee of one satellite event day of your choosing (in person or virtual) + one year of the MICCAI Society membership

Eligibility:

Students and early career researchers (within 2 years of graduation or not yet on a tenured post) from diverse backgrounds, including but not limited to lower income countries. Diversity here is used as a short form for "Equality, Diversity and Inclusion”, encompassing a wider range of underrepresented characteristics in the scientific community.
