The MICCAI Society Main Conference and Satellite Events Participation Grants aim to provide financial support for students and early-career scientists, including those from diverse and underserved backgrounds, to participate in MICCAI Conferences.
The grant covers one in-person MICCAI 2023 conference registration which includes the main conference and both days of satellite event registrations and one year of MICCAI Society membership. Grants will be given in the form of registration waiver codes.
MICCAI young scientists including students and early career researchers (within 2 years of graduation or not yet on a tenured post) from diverse backgrounds, including but not limited to lower-income countries are eligible. Diversity here is used as a short form for "Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion”, encompassing a wider range of underrepresented characteristics in the scientific community. Please see the full guideline for the Grants for details.
Exclusion: Students who are the first author of a paper accepted by the MICCAI 2023 main conference are not eligible.
Applicants must submit an online application form by June 30, 2023.
Grants will be exclusively given under the form of a conference or satellite event registration discount mechanism to avoid payment of any upfront fees and later reimbursement. We asked that the candidates wait for the final decision before registering for the conference.
If you have any issues completing the online form, please contact Kitty Wong. Queries related to the awards should be directed to the MICCAI Society Awards Coordinator Linwei Wang.
