For the first time in its 27-edition history, MICCAI is gracing the African continent. Why is this so thrilling? Because MICCAI 2024 promises to be nothing short of groundbreaking. We will emphasise and extend the foundational and emerging research themes you’ve come to appreciate, from cutting-edge image computing and machine learning methods to clinical MICCAI insights and real-world applications.
Our keynote sessions? An exquisite blend of global intellect and fresh perspectives. We’re particularly proud to host the first-ever keynote by an Africa-based researcher. Expect invigorating talks on inclusive and fair machine learning for medical imaging, low-cost imaging solutions, and the intricacies of image-guided surgery in resource-limited settings.
But beyond the science, MICCAI 2024 is an open invitation to dive into a cultural mosaic.
